Sarah Kervin MM, MS CCC-SLP
Performer, pedagogue, and speech language pathologist Sarah Kervin splits her time between the worlds of vocal artistry and clinical voice rehabilitation. From Atlanta, GA, Sarah studied classical and jazz voice and saxophone at the University of South Carolina and the University of North Texas. She served as an Assistant Professor of Voice at Berklee College of Music for almost a decade and continues to be an active performer as a singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist. Following a voice injury of her own, Sarah became passionate about helping others maintain and rehabilitate their healthiest, most powerful voices.
She completed her master's degree in speech language pathology at New York University and completed her clinical training at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, the University of Alabama in Birmingham, and her fellowship training in Miami, Florida at The Voice Rehab and Cleveland Clinic of Florida. Sarah is currently back in NYC as a member of the team at the Grabscheid Voice and Swallowing Center of Mount Sinai, where she specializes in rehabilitating performers. She is passionate about preventative education for singers and helping professional voice users get to specialized care teams when they’re having a problem.
